Ohio Prescription Drug Drop Box Program

Need a place to safely dispose of unneeded or expired prescription drugs? The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office District 5 in Anderson Township now hosts a free prescription drug drop off site inside the district office. As part of the Ohio Prescription Drug Drop Box Program, the collection bin will be open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Not accepted at the site are liquids, aerosols, inhalers, needles or (plastic/glass) bottles. *Due to incineration requirements, plastic pill bottles are not accepted. Please place all pills and tablets into a zip-lock type bag for disposal.*

The site was developed in collaboration with the township, the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office and the Enquirer.

The District 5 station is located at 7954 Beechmont Ave.
