The Anderson Township Department of Planning and Zoning oversees all of the planning and zoning related matters that occur within the Township. It also performs a research and analysis function by using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and other related information sources to aid Anderson Township's elected officials and citizens in making sound planning and zoning decisions. The Department also serves as staff to several of Anderson Township's citizen advisory committees, including the Transportation Advisory Committee, Development Advisory Committee and the Beautification Committee.
