ArtsWave Presents has announced it has awarded Anderson Center $2,200 to fund two programs and one art project at Anderson Center during 2012. The grant will support a dance program and an opera production, plus provide funding for a piece of artwork.
Programs funded for $500 apiece include the Cincinnati Opera’s touring production and the Cincinnati Ballet’s Culture of Dance program. The center also received $1,000 for the ArtWorks Do-Re-We project. Extra funds will be used for publicity.
Formerly known as the Fine Arts Fund, ArtsWave Presents grants support and collaborate with arts organizations throughout the area in the areas of music, dance, theatre, galleries, art centers, museums, festivals and more.
