The Anderson Township Fire and Rescue Department has modified the number of CPR offerings it will provide for the public during the year 2012. The fire department will provide one American Heart Association CPR class (Healthcare Provider or Heartsaver) on the first Saturday of the month from 8 a.m. until noon at the Anderson Township Operations Center at 7954 Beechmont Ave. Throughout the year, during odd number months the Healthcare Provider Class will be offered; during even months the Heartsaver Class will be offered.
New fees take effect in 2012. Healthcare Provider Classes are $50 per student and Heartsaver CPR Classes and First Aid classes are $40 per student. Fees include a book, supplies and the CPR card which is valid for two years from the date of the class.
