An open house on two new sidewalk segments on Clough Pike and Eight Mile Road has been rescheduled. The open house now will be hosted from 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 16, at Anderson Center, 7850 Five Mile Road. A public hearing follows during the regular meeting of the Anderson Township Trustees starting at 7 p.m.
The Eight Mile Road section runs from the Anderson Township Heritage Center at the corner of Eight Mile and Forest Road to Brownsboro Place. Along Clough Pike, plans call for a new sidewalk on the south side from Foxhollow Drive to an existing sidewalk at Sandcliff Drive. Another segment is planned for on the north side of Clough Pike from Nagel Road to the M.E. Lyons YMCA driveway. Construction is planned for 2013.
