Anderson Township Historical Society Book Provides A Pictorial History of Community

As part of the Anderson Township Historical Society’s celebration of its 50th year and in conjunction with the 22th celebration of the township, a new history book about the township has recently been published by the Anderson Township Historical Society. Using the archival photos of the society, readers can enjoy a pictorial look at local history through the 1930s. The book “Anderson Township” is published by Arcadia Publishing in their Images of America book series.

Copies of the Images of American Book “Anderson Township”, are available for $21.99 on the Arcadia website, www.arcadiapublishing.com.  The book may also be purchased at the Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce in Anderson Center during weekday business hours, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and purchase a book there for $20.  In addition, the Anderson Township Historical Society sells books at the Anderson Township History Room, open in Anderson Center. Hours are Sunday and Wednesday 1 to 4 p.m., and on Tuesday 6-8:30 p.m.
